I'm hoping the magic of the internet can help me! John S. Roome, M.D. had our home constructed for his second wife, Blanche Cora Bigelow (the best name ever!). I have a photo of John but I can't find any of Blanche. If you know anyone with Bigelow in Our Moonflower - Datura metel 'Belle Blanche' - is finally in bloom! This is our FOURTH year trying to grow it and we finally have a bloom! Bought the seeds from John Scheepers Kitchen Garden Seeds and started them in early March. Totally worth the t Still waiting for the Datura to bloom but I have faith it’s coming soon! 😍😍😍 Our ‘Blue Glow’ Echinops just keeps getting darker! The most beautiful blue and it’s starting to bloom. 💙💙💙 The lilies are still popping in the gardens! 💕🌺💕 We’re on @apartmenttherapy today! Thanks @mruthbaker for the write-up! Check out the before and after at the #linkinbio! 💕💕💕 Hello, sunshine! Random sunflower turned up in the gardens courtesy of the birds I’m sure. 🤷‍♂️😍💛 ‘Benary’s Giant’ zinnia bonanza! We started 72 plants from seed in March and now they’re in full bloom! So fun/easy to grow from seed! 🌱 A beautiful sunset in the side garden! We have just a few fireflies left as we move into giant killer mosquito season. 😓🦟 💕 Friday night lights! So excited for the weekend. ❤️💕❤️ Little Edie is not impressed. At all. Ever. 😒 #restingcatface I 💕 hydrangea season! This bird was really hungry. I let him have some lunch before I ran him off. 😂🙈❤️🤷‍♂️🐿 Came home last night to the most beautiful lavender bouquet from our fabulous neighbors at the Lavender Fields Inn! @barbbrezalavenderfieldsinn! 💜💜💜 We won best in show with the ‘Blue Glow’ Echinops and second place with our ‘Blacklist’ Lily!!! And 1st place in each of our other five categories. 🙌 💕❤️ Finally found the perfect way to display my collection of vintage sequin fruit! It’s such a nightmare to dust them. 😂❤️🦚💕 We have our favorite cut flowers all ready for the big competition at the county fair! ❤️🤞 ‘Blacklist’ Lily ‘Stargazer’ Lily ‘Blue Glow’ Echinops ‘Incrediball Blush’ Hydrangeas ‘Sassy Summer Taf
